Conrad Garden Club

Carol Michael , President [627-2346]

The purpose of the club is to bring instructive material to its members regarding gardening and flowers and to further active interest in civic affairs.

The Garden Club members of Conrad held a very successful flower show in August. The theme was "Alice in Wonderland " named in honor of club member and accredited flower show judge, Alice Iverson. Alice, a 50-year member is also a Life Member of MFGC.

Garden Club upcoming projects are: book/video donations to the Public Library, Christmas centerpiece and corsages for the Hospital extended care party, National Library Week arrangement for the Open House, Arbor Day Tree planting, and 3 area civic beautification plantings.

Conrad GC has 32 enthusiastic members and a growing group of Junior Gardeners ever ready with fun projects and help.

We meet at 11:30 am on the second Friday every month at The Lobby on Main St. and visitors are always welcome.
