Dillon Garden Club President: Nancy Johnson (683-2882) Nestled at over 5400' in a wide, verdant valley surrounded by the Beaverhead - Deer Lodge National Forest, Dillon Garden Club has been greening their community for over 35 years. Our members are some of the most industrious gardeners in Montana. The 30+ members meet on the third Thursday from September to May for a horticulture or floral design program. During the summer months, we plant and maintain the 4 block-long Centennial medians on Helena Street as well as the Blue Star Marker garden. ![]()
The club sponsors awards and champions the Beaverhead County Fair (pictured above). We sponsor a "First Daffodil" and "First Ripe Tomato" Contest each year. Members also judge the October Fest Halloween decorations, sponsor the Holli-Daze Christmas Awards, and ask the community to participate in the Christmas Bazaar by entering creche displays (pictured below). The Bazaar is one of our major fund raisers. ![]() Club members display leadership in many facets of the community.
