The Hoe and Hope Garden Club has about two dozen gardeners. Our members care for the flower beds by the Big Timber City Hall, maintain the flower beds at the library and plantings at the gazebo in the Lion’s Club Park, create table decorations for the Pioneer Medical Center Nursing Home and sponsor a flower show at the Sweet Grass County Fair each August.
Our major fundraiser in May is a plant and bake sale. Watch the calendar page on this website for date, time and place of the next sale. Some of our members love flower design and one, Vicky Barbieri, is a National Garden Club accredited flower show judge.
The club meets monthly, except in January, usually at the Big Timber Library located at 314 McLeod Street. Please join us by calling our president for more information.
