MFGC President

Diane Ward, 2023-25

As the Montana Federation of Garden Clubs, Inc. (MFGC) State President, Diane Ward is focused on extending the communication and education among the 23 state garden clubs in Montana.  With her years of service in her local and state organizations, she wants to keep the flow of information from the national level to the local level.  It is important to Diane that the public is made aware of the many events, projects, scholarships, programs, flower shows and educational speakers that the state clubs offer.  The National Garden Clubs, Inc. and the Rocky Mountain Region Garden Clubs provide her with educational programs that she can communicate to her state Districts to share with their club members.

Promoting MFGC is something Diane will be doing over her 2-year term as the State President.  Youth programs, National Scholarship, local beautification in Montana, installation of Blue Star and Gold Star markers and educating the public by exposing people to flower shows are just a few of the projects she talks about.

Diane Ward graduated in 1988 from the University of Arizona with a degree in Education.  She currently lives in Whitehall, Montana.
