The Thumb R Green Garden Club was formed for the enjoyment of its members (gardeners who love to talk and learn about, grow and share plants). Members may choose to participate in any particular project that interests them. Our meeting time is the fourth Monday of the month at 10:00 am with the place to be announced. In the summer we often tour beautiful gardens. Dues are $15 a year which includes membership at the state and national level.
We plant and maintain a flower bed at the Metra and the roses around our Blue Star Memorial Marker at Veterans Park, corner of Poly Drive and 13th Street. We enjoy decorating a Christmas tree at the Moss Mansion in November.
