The Townsend Garden Club & Study was organized and federated on June 18, 1954. Our members support various community projects. We are currently meeting at the Homestead Manor. The dates and times are flexible during the summer.

Membership is open to everyone. Come meet with people who like to garden!

Members support various community projects, including:

      • Participation in the county fair and parade
      • Senior gardening therapy
      • Participates in the Farmer’s Market during the summer.  Plans to start ongoing mini-classes and demonstrations at the market.
      • Plant and maintain the atrium at the Broadwater Health Center for residents’ enjoyment

Many members are active Montana State University Master Gardeners.

The Townsend Garden Club completed a Blue Star Memorial Marker project for Veterans’ Park.  Members and American Legion Post #42 raised funds to install the Marker, flowers, and beautiful cement work.
